American Idol this week

This week, again, I had to watch the tape of the show the next day.  But here it goes:

1.       Bucky Covington – turned a Queen song to country.  Was so-so I thought

2.     Ace Young – He was just okay tonight I thought, maybe not his type of song or something (Queen was the theme) and he might be a little bit empty-headed.

3.     Kellie Pickler- A total dingbat, but in a loveable way.  She rocked it out, this little country girl.  Simon told her that her singing that type of song wouldn’t look good on paper, but she did good in real life.  Poor girl didn’t know what he meant!  J  He started to explain it then just said oh, nevermind!  It was funny to me.

4.     Chris Daughtry – YES!  Simon didn’t like his song choice, but whatever, the dude is great! 

5.     Katharine McPhee – Looked great!  Sounded great!

6.     Elliot Yamin – don’t like him, not one of my favorites.  But he did okay

7.     Taylor Hicks – the wild one with the grey hair, he was very intertaining.  This was a fun one to watch.

8.     Paris Bennett – Was also good, but I don’t like this type of music for most of them.
