Thirteen concerts I've ever been to(I stole this idea from scouser)- The Beach Boys- when I was a kid with my sister and cousins, there were people in front of us smoking pot, my first smell of pot. We were using out shirts as a gas mask!
- Howie Mandel - though not a real concert, a comedy concert
- Tears for Fears - we got floor seats, me and my boyfriend when I was about 18
- Howie Mandel again
- Prince - was one of the only white people in the place. I took my niece that is close in age to me so people would be like oh, that's your aunt? cool.
- Bow Wow Wow - just happened to be at Astroworld (in Houston) when they were having a concert and went to watch some of it. They sang "I Want Candy"
- Howie Mandel one last time - went to 3 of his concerts over a few years, and he had the same material. I thought he would have new material a few years later, but no. I could recite the punch line to most of the jokes by the third one.
- Sting - at the Pavillion in the Woodlands, TX. It started to rain, we were sitting on the hill and got all wet. He sang his song about "No Rain" it was really great to be there, even with the rain.
- Nine Inch Nails - my then roommate and I drove from Houston to Austin to see them. There were some wild looking people there. We were a little bit scared.
- Does Sesame Street Live count as a concert? I'm running out of them. I really haven't been to very many. I wasn't ever allowed to as a teenager.
- Then there was the Rockettes Live when they were in Dallas. I won tickets by watching the WB tv channel and entering a contest! I took my son with me because my husband was not the least bit interested. We got to sit up in the box seats and have a buffet. We got to meet some of the people from the WB and some of the other winners. It was pretty fun.
- The Dixie Chicks - except we didn't get to go because it was an outdoor concert and it was raining pretty bad that night, and everyone besides me decided that we weren't going. Well, my SIL bought the tickets and she was pregnant, so I understand that she wouldn't want to go. And this was before they made that comment about the president. If my husband would have wanted to go in the rain, I would have gone, but I was the only one wanting to be stupid.
- OH, and the Oak Ridge Boys at the rodeo when I was a kid and then later when I was dating my husband, we went to the rodeo again and I saw some country artists that I can't remember, except there was a drunk Tim McGraw that couldn't sing live. He sucked live. Oh well. There ya go. A good mixture, huh.

Haha first comment. Thank you for visitint my T13 I will move your comment from my World Domination post and into the T13 post.
Would you believe that in my entire 37 years of life I have never been to a concert... My TT is up.
I've been to one concert ever, and that was one I don't even want to mention now!!
You've had quite the concert going experience!! Sounds like fun!
Tears for Fears would've been cool to see. Sting, too.
My 13 are up.
Wow! I have been to just 3 concerts my whole life... and only since I got married! I like your list, it sounds so fun... happy 13, mine are up!
Sting AND Sesame Street!
I am jealous.
Well. Now I feel more normal, since a lot of you have also not been to many concerts. I wanted to go to many more, but didn't get to. I so wanted to see Madonna everytime she was in town, but never did.
I do know Howie's Deal or No Deal, and then I saw a parody of it on SNL the other night, it was funny. I didn't realize he was acting the way they made fun of him, but now that they point it out, i see it. I loved his hand thing, it cracked me up!! But then again, I am easily amused.
Holy Crap! I went to a few concerts at the Woodlands Pavilion! I saw Janet Jackson, KD Lang and Tori Amos there! Lived in Houston from age 10 to 25!
nililistic- neat! I lived in the houston area most of my life, until we moved to the dfw area. wouldn't that be funny if we know each other? like from high school or something.
That would be funny! I went to school in Kingwood and U of H...Then left in 1997. And I SO don't miss the humidity!
