full of myself

Sometimes I am so full of myself!  I am a hairdresser, and I am usually very good at what I do.  But I should not be so full of myself!  I will try not to be.  Last night, a new customer was in the waiting area, and he saw me cut someone’s hair and liked how I did it and wanted me to do the same thing to him!  So I was feeling full of myself!  Yes I know I am awesome!  But I didn’t act all full of myself, just in my own head!

Did I tell you a while back, that the lady from the training center came to me to have me cut her hair, because she was so impressed with me in the class!?  Well, I must have been full of myself that day.  She should need a trim by now, but she hasn’t come back yet.  But she did say before, that she goes around to all the shops to let different people cut her hair.  But I thought I would be her new stylist!  Maybe not.  But I sure was full of myself that day!  I called the owner and the manager and told them that the trainer lady came all the way to our shop to let ME cut her hair!  The lady lives in a whole nother town!

Yeah, sometimes I feel like I am the best haircutter out there!  I can do anything!  And usually I can.  But there are those people that will not be satisfied no matter what.  Augh! I had one guy tell me to go short, very short, then oh, that is short!  Well, duh! You said short!  And he pointed to where he wanted his sideburns, and I put them there, and oh, that was too short!  Pa-leese!  Get out of my chair!
