comparisons & rape appointment

Okay, so I was thinking the other day, while I was trying to make myself fall asleep, about how opposites attract and about how opposite I and my husband are.

Him: Early Bird gets the worm (he wakes up before me)

Me: Night Owl (I could stay up all night long)

Me: Social Butterfly

Him: Hermit Crab!  (haha) – I like to go out and see people and meet new people and do things and he would rather stay in the house and have no one bother him.

But he lets me go do things while he stays home, so that is very nice! Now, I don’t go partying or clubbing or anything crazy.  I go to scrapbooking events or to a friend’s birthday party – a friend that he is not too familiar with and wouldn’t know anyone there,  but that’s because he won’t go.  Hmm. OH well, at least he lets me go.

Also I recently went for my yearly womanly visit.  Don’t worry, I don’t think I will say anything too graphic here.  But you never know what I will say.

So, I think going to these visits is like making an appointment to be raped!  You go in there and they put something in you that you don’t welcome, and you have a few minutes that are not enjoyable, to say the least.

To all of my lady friends out there that might be sick to death of having their time of the month, go look at www.novasure.com .  I am thinking about this procedure.

I can't believe that no one has commented on this yet! Well, I have to say that My husband is less of a Hermit Crab now, because he took the boy to see a WWE event last night! So there, he went to a crowded place.

Don't worry, I'm here commenting!

I'm sure you make a great couple after all and I'm glad to hear he gives you some space and to have fun your way!

Regarding rape appointment: how could I comment that ? hmmm, well: it's much easier for the boys you know:-)

Btw: Happy 4th of July and if you feel hungry, your welcome (and bring your SO too!) over for Spare Ribs at my new blog home!

Yes, I just went for my yearly visit too, I HATE it, it's soooo humilating and yucky....will go check out the novasure site. I don't think about birth control anymore since Chad had his snippy-do-da, but getting a break from periods would be awesome!

Hey, how is your weight loss coming?
