Yeah, so, now I am in a bit of a quandary! Okay, the one job that I just started, did the same thing where they make you pay the drawer if it is short. So I decided that I’m not putting up with it, so I kept looking and found a hair job that does NOT do that at all! Meanwhile, at the first place, I told a girl about the problem and that it is illegal and that I’m not gonna fight about it, I’m just gonna leave. And she was surprised to hear that it was illegal and said if we told the owner, she was sure that she wouldn’t do it anymore, and she asked me to bring a copy of the paper that says it’s illegal. So I bring it in to her, and she had talked with the owner, and they don’t want to lose me over this and they will not do it anymore, now they have a different system that works fine with me! So I could stay!
However!! The second place said they would hire me, well, they DID hire me and plan to put me on the schedule next week! They also pay a little bit more than the first place. So I guess I really want to go to the second place, but now I feel bad about the first place!
Do you understand what I am saying? Am I making any sense? I am already working at Place #1, but got hired on to Place #2. But I guess I have to do what is best for me in the end. But now what happens if I go to Place #2 and decide that I don’t really like it there and want to go back to Place #1? That would really suck!
And then there is this! A bank that I applied to wants to speak with me about a part-time teller position! I guess it wouldn’t hurt to at least talk to them, huh.

It's really hard to give you any advice - you should stick to your guts feeling!
Whatever you decide: good luck!
Btw: I'll try hard to find a vid of the Ice Rose in front of The Kings Castle in Oslo, Norway:-)
Me again, this is Jodi. Wow, you have options coming out the wazo! I think you should go talk to the bank for sure and then also keep cutting hair part time and see what happens. Could you just do a trial at place #2 and keep place #1 for now to see which you like better?
Jodi
Jodi, well, it would be hard to work at both places. The hours conflict. I guess I will tell place #1 that I am leaving today. I feel sorry for them. Oh well.
