Well, I stayed at the first job!
They changed their policy of making the stylists pay the drawer when it is short, and I didn’t even ask them to. I just said that I would leave because of it. And they wanted to keep me there. Then the second place was offering me more money, and I told place #1 that I was still leaving to make more money, and they matched it to keep me there! I couldn’t believe it! I didn’t expect it at all! But I am a good stylist and a good person and I deserve a good job and good pay.
I was sad to have to call place #2 and tell them that I was not coming on with them after all! They already had me on the schedule and everything. But in the end, that manager kept her door open to me too, so I guess if I ever do leave this first place, I could still go there again.
Wow, it’s nice to be wanted!

Awesome! It sounds like it worked out great, I am so glad you stuck up for yourself. I really hope it works out well for you at the salon! I wish I lived in Texas or you lived her so you could do my hair! :)
