Thirteen things about job hunting

Thirteen Things about Karen's Job Hunting:
  1. Seeking employment as a hairdresser somewhere?
  2. Seeking employment as a receptionist at a Veternary place
  3. Seeking employment as something clerical
  4. Seeking employment through two different temp agencies right now, no good leads yet
  5. Seeking employment as a receptionist at a dental place
  6. Don't want to have to go back to Target, low pay, you know.
  7. I'm looking online daily and applying to lots of different leads on there!
  8. Was seeking employment from a pest control place nearby, but have a feeling that they won't call me again. I had two interviews with nice men, then a third interview with a grumpy man. I didn't get a good feeling from him, but who knows? It could still happen.
  9. I have been unemployed for about a whole week now, and I am getting anxious!
  10. I went ahead and applied at a different hair cut place online.
  11. I wanted to find a "real" job first, but I guess I can cut hair while I am still looking?
  12. I just don't want to get stuck in a job that I don't really like or want.
  13. I would most love to be receptionist at a vet place, if the pay is good. They are closed on Sundays and open short hours on Saturdays! That would be perfect!

Good luck--and keep looking until it feels just right. If you spend 8-9 hours a day some place, it is a good idea to like the people and the work. Also, don't forget to ask friends, or let them know what you're seeking. Networks work. I'm not currently doing TT, but have started writing for Poetry Thursday. Stop by for a look-see.
