Well! I start my new job today! Sure, it's another hair cutting job, but I guess that's what I do. I was looking for a "regular" type job where you get weekends off and evenings off, but it's been 2 weeks and still no job. I realize it might take longer than that to find a job like that. But we needed money in a bad way! We barely have any groceries left and we have been scrounging for food around here, digging stuff out of the deep freezer, running out of milk and butter, feeding the kids meat sandwiches for breakfast.
So I went to a nice looking hair place on a busy intersection, and they hired me right there! They needed someone yesterday! It feels like a nice friendly place and I hope I am happy there. I emailed my clients that have emailed me looking for me. *I have been giving out my email address on the back of my business cards at the other place for some time now. So one of my favorite clients, okay, my FAVORITE client said that his prayers have been answered because he just got his hair cut yesterday and it sucked! haha!!! I'm the best!! I wonder who it was that cut his hair? I hope that person isn't reading this blog! That is not very likely anyway. One day they might stumble across it, but maybe not. Oh well.
Okay, wish me luck today! I gotta go finish getting ready!

Congratulations!!! Good luck with the new job and let us know what the government says about the whole cash register thing. It is soooo weird what employers try to get away with these days...LOL
