American Idol, Anyone?

Well, I didn’t get to watch it, but I recorded it and I am watching it now.  I think I cut off the last half to record that new show about Sons & Daughters.  That show cracks me up.

So, last week, one of my favorites got let go, Lisa Tucker, the young black girl with the longer hair.  She hadn’t been doing too well lately.  But I think she should continue with the singing.

 

01-     Taylor Hicks  -  on key and everything, just not interesting

02-     Mandisa  -  good, but no Shania Twain, you just can’t match her on one of her songs.

03-     Elliott Yamin  -  don’t like him and didn’t like his singing.  He looks like he has a dip of Skohl in his bottom lip all the time and it just bugs me to no end.

04-     Paris Bennet  -  Looked so cute with her boots and her top and her haircut!  And she sang great.  She should be in the finals.

05-     Ace Young  -  Great to look at and he did pretty well with the ballad type song.  Still a little nasal to me, but no one else ever says that.  Am I the only one?  I would like to keep seeing him in there for a while.

06-     Kellie Pickler  -  Great, Perfect!  That song (Fancy by Reba) makes me cry anyway, but I resisted.

07-     Chris Daughtry  -  the bald rocker guy – OBVIOUSLY had his eyebrows waxed, and he should never do that again, at least not by the same person.  But he did a great job I thought, mostly

08-     Katharine McPhee  -  I just love her!  She is singing sultry on thins one.  She’s the Katie Holms look-a-like.  LOVE HER!

09-     Bucky – the judges liked him but I thought he sucked!  He can go for all I care.

 

Well, I guess I didn’t tape over the end like I thought I did.  That’s good.

So there, that is my take on AI.
