mostly beach stuff

I wonder if anyone can read this font or not?  Would it drive you crazy if I did my whole post in this font? No? Why? Because you would simply quit reading?  And probably click on something else?  It is fun to type in this font because it is so crazy.

Oh, alright!!

So we went to the beach in Florida recently.  I have new pics you can see on my RockYou slide show on this page.  They are mixed in with the other pics, so you have to suffer through them all if you really want to make sure you don’t miss anything.

It was a fun vacation but it had several un-fun things too.

First off, I let my back get sunburned really bad on the first real day at the beach, because I thought I sprayed enough of that spray-on-no-rub sunscreen, but I missed most of my back.  Yikes!  My bad.  I also got my hubby burned on his tummy because I didn’t spray him good either.  He has a striped burn/tan now. 

Then there were the roudy neighbors!!  They were up to all hours of the night, which isn’t so bad except that they were loud on their balconies and by the pool and screaming and playing loud music till 3 or 4 am!!  Come on!  Do it inside or out at the beach where no one can be bothered!  I had children and other people trying to sleep there!  Then I was afraid that my FIL was going to go down there and try to kick some teenage butt!!  I was ready to wake up the hubby and have him help, but he was away from the window and sleeping pretty good.  Geez!

Oh, and poor hubby of mine, planned a deep sea fishing trip with the guys, but he got sickly on the boat and could not enjoy it, so that was a sad thing.

Other than all of that, it was a really nice trip.  The water was beautiful, like a swimming pool with undertows! J  Oh yeah, the waves were a red flag every day, which means 5 ft waves, and it is hard to stand up in one place for any length of time.  But other than that, it was all good!  (hee-hee) 

Yeah, really sounds like I enjoyed myself doesn’t it?

No really, look at the pics I added to the slide show.  It was good.  And the girl of mine got her ears pierced while there!!  Yay, brave girl!
