stupid brother

So, my niece, Linz, was graduating in Louisiana this past weekend.  She is one of my brother’s many daughters.  I will try to explain the background of this story first.  My brother, (let’s just call him Bro) had one daughter from his first marriage, we’ll call her Kristin.  Later, he had 3 more daughters from another wife.  We’ll call that wife Tina.  Tina and Bro’s first kid was Linz.  Okay, then Tina divorced Bro and Married “Mike”, so Mike was step dad to the girls for many years.  Then Tina divorced Mike and Married “Joe”.  So the girls are on step-dad #2. 

With me so far?  So, Linz is graduating.  Kristin and her kids stay with Mike the night before.  They are also like family.  Mike is the step dad of Kristin’s sisters, after all!

But my brother is so self-involved!  He has been a drug addict off and on over the years, so we never know if he is using again or not, because he gets good at hiding it, and we don’t hear from him very often anyway.  Sometimes we think he has his life together and other times we think there is no hope for him.  He is the only one that can control his life.

Anyway!  Bro was upset that his oldest daughter, Kristen was staying with Mike and they were traveling together to go to the graduation.  So I guess Bro felt left out of the loop.

Well, he never showed up at the graduation and Kristen couldn’t get him on his cell phone and my sister tried to call him also and couldn’t get him and she worries more than the normal person, so she is afraid that he is dead on the side of the road somewhere.  But he was not!  He just didn’t go.  He told my sis that he was mad at all of them and that if he went there he felt like he would have to kill them. WHAT THE HELL???!!!  I think he needs to stay away from all of us now.  He might be one of those loonies that kill their whole family or something!  I bet he is using again.  I am so done with him.  He is an idiot!
