penny - haha! space bar!!! That is so funny, but annoying I bet! I did not get my expensive handbag. Just as well. I went to Dillards to look at them, and felt sick to my stomache at the price of them, thinking about all the groceries it could buy instead! You know! I got two cute little dog tag like charms with the kid's names on them and a stick-figure type kid on them. And some great cards too! It was a nice day. We went to the SIL's house for the day and the kids played and they cooked out on the grill. All good fun!
I agree about the expensive purse. I actually bought myself one(I work in a dept store and get 25% employee discount) but ended up returning it because of the same feelings like you. Glad you had a nice mother's day. Sometimes I feel like even though I'm a mother it's not really my day since I still have to "honor" my mom as well. Weird huh?
