on my mind

Yay!  The girl scored 4 (!!!!) goals this time at her soccer game last night!  My son says it is because he talked to her and told her to do her best and she did!  She was so proud, too.  After each goal, she looked at me and held up her fingers for how many goals she made so far!  She almost made 2 other goals, but they just barely missed.  Good job!  I love to see that!  I was so happy for her!  Proud mom here!  Me and the boy are the only ones that came to that game.  L  But we called everyone and told them about what they had missed!

Just a funny story.  A hair customer of mine was telling me about an aunt that gives the worst gifts at Christmas or birthdays or whatever.  One time, she gave her(my customer) husband a fireman calendar, because he is a fireman!  She was confused!  She thought it was FOR firemen, not ABOUT firemen, dressed all hot and sweaty!  Haha!!

I was wishing that I had a good video camera at the girl’s soccer game.  That is the next big item that I want.  I want a good video camera.  I take some small video clips with my Kodak Easy Share digital camera, but you can’t take hours worth of footage, just little clips.  You can see some of my little clips on my myspace page. In the news, have you seen this about the guy that made racial slurs about some girls team?  I know, I’m not giving you any details, but if you have seen the news in the states lately, you know what I am talking about.  And okay, I haven’t heard what the guy said, but really, who cares?  He is entitled to his opinion, whatever it is!  Sure, maybe he should keep it to himself, but don’t we have free speech here?  I thought so.  And I heard that there was a black man somewhere that said something about killing all white people.  Who is rioting about that?  NO black person I bet.  No offense to any black people, or other people is intended by my opinion.  I like all people, unless they do something to irritate me personally.  Each person is an individual.  If an individual chooses to act like the stereotype that they are, then that is their choice.  If everyone would just be nice, then there would be less of all this crap. Don’t cha think?  If that girl team would have just been like, “oh well, whatever” instead of like, “we need an apology, and that isn’t even enough!” then there wouldn’t be such an uproar.  Don’t let these opinionated people get to you!  Whatever.  I don’t know if any of that made any sense anyway.
