WELL!!! GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?! They do it there too!!! I had my first day on the new salon job yesterday, so they were going over a lot of stuff. They went over the register procedures a little bit, and they said that if it is short, they all pay into it!!!! What Tha Hell!!!! What is going on here? Is this a Dallas area thing? Because I worked at several salons in the Houston area, and that was never an issue!!
I am at a loss. I emailed the government to see if they have anything to say about it. They should reply to me within 2 days, which could actually mean Tuesday since today is Friday. I might call some of my hair dresser friends and see if they have worked other places that do or don't do the same thing.
It's really quite irritating! I didn't think I would have to ask about this in my interview, but apparently I should have! I'll let you know what I do.

This sounds ridicules - sorry you have to experience this once again. Don't they have a union at your place who can work for your rights?

Man, that bites big time! I seriously doubt it's even legal, keep us posted for sure for sure.
