Ramblings of the day

Where are the “Blogs I like” on my sidebar?  They have disappeared!  I hope they come back soon.  Maybe it’s a sign that I should be doing something else right now.

My husband did the sweetest thing the other day:  he saved a little bird!  We both heard a “thump” at our back door, which is glass.  We got up to investigate.  There was a little bird face down on our foot mat outside!  So hubby went out to check on it.  It was breathing, but knocked out cold!  He tried to pick it up and it came to and tried to fly away, but it was still knocked silly.  So hubby picked it up again and pet it and the bird stood on his FINGER!!  And hubby placed it in a bush in our yard!  The bird stood on his finger!!!  Amazing.  He’s just like Snow White!  (haha, I had to throw that in there)  So the little bird was gone by morning, and we can only imagine that he was well and flew away just fine.  Poor little birdie!

I have been so very tired lately!  I could just sleep all day long if given the chance!  Maybe I haven’t been taking my happy pills on schedule.  I will work on doing that better and see if it helps me not be so tired.

My birthday is coming up soon.  What do you all want to send me?  Cash and gift cards are always welcome!  How about some nightgowns or pajamas?  Sweaters?  Shoes?  A quesadilla maker?  I think I might actually use one of those.  You know how you get crazy kitchen appliances and use them once and never use them again?  I got lots of those, well, a few anyway.  I wish I had a reason to want the chocolate fondue waterfall machine that I have seen lately.  But I have no reason to have one of those.  If you have a lot of parties, it would be a fun thing to have.

Alright.  I have had some very weird dreams again lately.  I am the queen of weird dreams!

One was, I had three legs; two right legs and one left leg.  Then there was some sort of accident that I was in and the one right leg had to be amputated, but part of that foot was saved and attached to my other right foot because that foot got hurt too, so I was walking around with my foot sewn together, the smaller 3 outside toes that is.  How weird is that!

Another was I ordered a baby through a catalog.  First it was just a doll, but then it turned to a real baby.  It was a girl with bright red hair.  Her name was Tubby.  I was going to change her name because she was mine and I wasn’t going to let her go around with a name like Tubby!
