just a thought

Some psychics believe that when you dream, your soul actually leaves your body and goes on an adventure.  But, doctors have done research on brain activity during sleeping and REM sleep, and your brain is active.  Sooooo, how could your brain be so active if you left your body?  Wouldn’t your brain be non-active if you really weren’t there?  Wouldn’t you even die?  Or maybe does only part of your soul leave during dreams?  Or is it all just a bunch of crap.  That is possible too.

I believe lots of things, but this, not so much.

Perhaps your soul leaves your body, but still communicates with it. All that brain activity must be encryption. After all, you don't want people to spy on your dreams. ;)

i actually buy into this because lots of other cultures believe our souls leave our body while dreaming.

Well, maybe it is more like what waschmittel said. I'm not completely closed to the idea. But where my dreams go, it's not someplace real. Last night i had a dream that I bought an aqua colored bikini and it had those tiny ruffles on the bra part and I looked pretty hot in it because it was a size 14, which with my bone structure would look great! Right now I am so much more than a 14.
