I first saw something on the internet about Emo; it seems that it might be the new term for our old “grunge” or “punk”. Perhaps? Then I had a kid tell me that it is in the new dictionary, so lets go to www.dictionary.com and find out! Okay, that just led me nowhere.

This seems to explain it all. Emo stands for emotional! So emotional punk rock, etc.
Why have I just heard about this? Has anyone else heard about this yet?

I have heard of emo. It's stupid teen angst I think. It's those plug wearing....black hair...crazy glasses...shop at hot topic kids.
