I had my appointment to consult with the surgeon today. He agrees that the gall bladder is diseased and needs to come out. While he is in there, he might take a biopsy of the liver. It looks to be an area with fatty tissue, however.
I have no gall stones right now, but it appears to have been some in the past and they damaged the gall bladder, so that means it is gall bladder disease. And the only way to treat that currently, is to remove it.
I will be doing this surgery on Tuesday, December 13th. It will be a day surgery, but I will be taking a couple of weeks off of work for this.
