only one stupid thing
What else. Idk. I have nothing interesting to say really. I thought I might come up with more things to type about, but I have not.

Poof!
So the boy was talking about the tooth fairy.
How does the Tooth Fairy just get in your room without making noise? Does he just “poof” himself in there?
- Yeah.
Well then he would make a “poofing” sound, like “Poof!”
Hahahaha!!!!

a revelation
I am an indecisive person. I think now (after reading part of Dr. Phil's book) that I can't make a decision on my own because I grew up with everyone telling me what to do all the time. I had my parents and older siblings all taking care of me and telling me what to do all the time. I never had to think for myself or make a decision.
So now in my adult years, I can't even decide where we should have lunch. I will go along with whatever the group says to do. I will comply. You tell me where to have lunch, and I will do what you say.

Sex is like Food
You can get your “food” as a nice relaxing romantic dinner with candle light and music, and enjoy every bite slowly and savor the flavors with 3 courses and a nap afterward.
But sometimes you are really starving and all you have time for is “fast food”!!! A quickie! Quick yet satisfying. Haha!

SLUG-BUG!!
So, me and the kids play “Slug Bug” when we are driving around in the car. But now-a-days there are bug cars (Volkswagen Beetles) all over the frigin’ place! So we changed it up a bit and now we also play “Slug PT-Cruiser”!! If you see it first, you yell the appropriate thing. SLUG BUG!!! Or PT-CRUISER!!!!
Well, my SIL and her daughter decided to also include mini-coopers, so now while driving, we could be in the middle of a conversation and someone will yell out MINI-COOPER or SLUG BUG or PT-CRUISER!!!!
Sometimes my girl gets upset if my boy sees one first. Boy, she would really be upset if we played it the real way! You remember it? You yell SLUG-BUG and at the same time you SLUG the person sitting next to you?! Yeah, she would know what upset was if we played it the real way! Yes indeed.

driving is a language
Driving is a language.
And there are different dialects within the language.
All of
But, the
Other towns may have more people speeding, or more people not using signals as their main dialect. But we have the red light runners.

coldness
So, I am so cold at night when I am trying to go to sleep. I bundle up in all kinds of covers. I put my warm fuzzy socks on my side table in case I wanted them last night. But I didn’t put them on because I was all cuddled up the other direction and I didn’t want to un-bundle myself to get them. BUT! When I woke up this morning, I had one sock on. So I thought I lost the other sock in the bed. I looked for the sock, and it wasn’t there. Then, I saw it. It was right there on my side table! So did I put one sock on in the night sometime? In my sleep? That was funny.

irritable today
I am feeling irritable today. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because my sister was just visiting for a few days, or maybe it’s because she left town today (but she’ll be back when she moves in to town next week) or maybe it’s because my son is coughing and coughing and nothing can make him stop for long and I know it’s not his fault but it’s very annoying. He’s going to the doctor on Friday. But that’s so long from now! Yikes! Maybe it’s ‘cause my neck hurts from my pillow last night. I guess I slept funny. Maybe I have missed a few of my happy pills? That might be the case. Maybe it’s the pile of clothes on the couch that needs to be put away. It’s out of control!
I seriously need to de-clutter this place. I swear, I get bags of junk out to the garbage, but then it still multiplies in the house somehow! I think papers are regenerating themselves.

stupid medical idiots
Augh! My poor son was sick yesterday. Hubby stayed home from work to take him to the doc because he kept coughing and his nose was so stopped up that he couldn’t breathe out of it. I figured his asthma was acting up and he needed a new puffer or something. Well, this crazy doctor gave him Amoxclav (which always makes him throw up) and some type of prednisone (which is hard on the tummy) and Flonase for the allergies and a new puffer for the asthma. Well, just a few hours after taking all of his new meds, he starts violently throwing up, continuously for an hour! I call the doc office and I talk to a nurse and she will have the doctor get back with me. Almost the whole hour goes by and I call them back and they send me to the nurse’s voice mail! So I try to go back to the front desk and tell them that my son is still throwing up and they say I have to leave a message for the nurse if they don’t answer the phone, because they are with a patient. So I say FINE. And I leave a message that my son has been throwing up for an hour now and I need to know what to do about it!!!!!!!
So I call the pharmacy (Walgreens) and they are much more helpful. The pharmacist tells me to just let him throw up till he is done and that the prednisone thing is very hard on kid’s tummies, so don’t give him anymore of that, but that she would still give him the Amoxclav (anti biotic). But I chose to not give him either one, because he always throws up with them.
Idiots. But at least the pharmacist was able to make me feel better about it. Thank you to Walgreens Pharmacy. I am leaving that doctor’s office.

Ellen and Dog
Please, Ellen, quit getting dogs if you are just going to give them away again! Oh, poor Ellen, gave her dog away and had to give it back because she “apparently” signed something that said she would give it back if she couldn’t keep it. Whatever lady!
A few years ago, some might remember, Ellen got this new dog and she didn’t know what to name it, so she did a contest on her show and had the audience name her new dog! A little while later, oh, she didn’t keep the dog after all. After all that naming Ellen’s new dog. Then oops, she doesn’t keep the dog.
So why, why does she try to get another dog? And then she doesn’t keep it again!!!! AGAIN!
REALLY?
QUIT GETTING DOGS AND THEN GETTING RID OF THEM!!!
I DO NOT FEEL SORRY FOR YOU!
Now, I like Ellen and all. Her show is entertaining and I think she is really funny. Just quit trying to have a dog. Don’t ever get a new dog again! You are not a dog person!
Thanks! J

so busy lately
I have been so busy lately. I barely have time for myself. I am able to write here now because they let me off early from work and no one is in the house right now so I have some peace and quiet for once. No kids are screaming at each other or wanting food. Darn those kids for always wanting to be fed. And no husband wondering what I am doing on the computer. There is no noise in the background like television or radio or again, the screaming kids.
Where was I going with this? Oh, who cares.
One of these days I will get back on here and read everyone’s blogs again. But for now, I barely have time to make this non-interesting post.
BTW, my therapy lady is great and I am seeing her again this Wednesday. I don’t really have any new information for her. But we’ll see.
Somebody needs to give me two kittens, so I will be happy. Kitties make me happy. Hmm, I wonder who has two little kitties to spare? (my in-laws found two little kitties)
Aren’t pets good for people with depression? I should have a pet. Darn it! Mail me yours. No, don’t. J

therapy
Well, I have just started going to see a therapist. I have never done that before, but I have thought about it before. My first 6 visits are free through this thing at my hubby’s work. So that is a plus!
I think I already figured out one thing that bothers me. But I’m not telling you here. Forget about it!

Tropical Storm Karen
Did you hear? I am a tropical storm! I’m so proud!

busy days
I have practically no spare time. So, then what am I doing on here? Well, I do have just a moment.
Here’s my typical day, like today:
Got kids to school, went to work, picked up another kid to baby-sit then picked up my kids, took the boy to the chiropractor, came home, waiting for kid to get picked up from here, then going to soccer practice with the girl and coming home and figuring out dinner. Then my day is gone and all I want to do is watch the premiere episode of Grey’s Anatomy!
bad dream
Is it all the Halloween stuff around that did this to me? Is it the Braum’s burger I had late last night? I had a very real feeling scary dream!
I was in my parent’s old house that I grew up in, but there were a few things different. My two sisters were around. There was a ghost that lived in my parent’s closet (which was where the bathroom really was in real life). And this ghost would only show itself to me, or let it be known. It would move things when I was around. So I tried to tell everyone that there was a ghost and of course they didn’t believe me.
Then I was sleeping on my parent’s bed, I guess because the ghost wanted me to. Taking a nap I think. Then a truck drove up to the window like a driveway and I said oh, Daddy’s here. (he didn’t drive a truck like that and that window is where the backyard and swimming pool really was, but here it is where the driveway was.)
So I was trying to leave the bedroom to go see my dad, but the ghost didn’t want to let me out and held the door shut at first, then I convinced it to let me out. Then my dad was trying to give me a puppy to get my mind off of this ghost thing but I was like, okay, that’s nice but there is a ghost!! Then my sister “L” came in the room with me and I was holding some newspaper and told the ghost to come out and then the paper was being wrapped around my hand and it hurt and I was like, see?? That is the ghost. So that sister started to believe me. Then I was back outside and my other sister “M” was there and the ghost wouldn’t let us back into the house, the door was stuck shut. Then I got the door open somehow and said, “Ghost! Where are you!” Then me and “M” saw my wind chime (that was dangling from the center of the room for some reason) start to move and the longest piece was a butterfly hanging off and it fell to the floor, and I yelled, “Hey! That was MINE!” then the whole wind chime floated around and went into pieces and the ghost put all the pieces inside itself like it’s bones and it was moving around, and that’s when I started to get really scared and I started to scream….
Then my hubby woke me up and said that I was about to scream! Then I was afraid to go back to sleep! Yikes!

Thursday Thirteen
Thirteen things that make me smile. I know I complain a lot on here, but I am happy sometimes also.
- my son
- my daughter
- Starbucks grande caramel mocha frappiccino
- when my hubby rubs my back
- Jack FM, they crack me up. If you have a Jack FM radio station where you live, listen to it for a while.
- Kiss FM morning radio; I don’t listen to them that often, but I like it when I do. It’s like you are at a party and everyone is talking to you and it’s a fun time.
- pedicures (rarely get them, but when I do, I am happy)
- massages (same thing)
- the fact that all my prime-time shows are premiering soon!
- sleep
- my job; I actually like my job.
- when one of my request customers come in the shop to see me
- and finally, the internet: blogging, surfing, myspace, emails, more surfing, watching tv shows online, etc.
Stressing
Feeling a little bit depressed today. Maybe I’m just too tired. I have been working a lot lately and the kids are back in school and there is a lot going on and the house is a total disaster and I don’t have the time or the energy to clean it all up! And I am too broke because we went on vacation (which was fun) and now I am out of one week’s pay check, and I am waiting for the next check that I get and maybe I will be all caught back up on bills and stuff and have some extra cash! Right now it’s tight. L But it will be fine again in another week. But until then, I am kind of stressing.

Cheese Dingbat
Here’s something funny.
I wrote: I was just watching the news and they talked about a kid that died of a cheese overdose and I seriously thought for a moment, "how can you die from eating too much cheese????"
I'm a dingbat.
Then a friend wrote: How in the heck can one die from eating too much cheese? no you are not a dingbat because I can't see how that happened either.
So then I wrote back to her: LOLOLOL!!! Now YOU'RE the dingbat!! CHEESE is a mixture of heroin and some other drugs. The street name is cheese.
:) hugs
She hasn’t writen me back again yet.

half-time show
Well, so has anybody been to a high school football game lately? I haven’t been to one since I was in high school, I guess. I went to one Friday night. I always used to enjoy the halftime show the most! I took the two kids and met a friend there with her two kids.
I could not believe my eyes when I saw the marching bands of both teams! When I was in high school (in the 80’s) the band wore full band uniforms no matter what month it was, hot or cold. Long pants, boots, jackets, the whole bit! No, not now. Now they wear matching t-shirts and khaki shorts that can be short or knee length and any shade of darkness! OMGosh! How un-formal! Un-professional! They did not look as sharp and crisp as I remember.
The cheer leaders where cute and the dancer-ettes with the band were fine. My daughter was kind of in my way, so I wasn’t able to enjoy it like I wanted. Then when I noticed the band, I could focus on nothing else.
